A very BIG compliment to the crew

Hello dear sirs of the most wonderful flying company!

It is my very big pleasure to give a very BIG THANKS to the crew we flew to Italy(Bergamo).

Personal Thanks to Petr Zouhar, Silvia, Maria del Carmen and Vincenzo.

Our company of four people had a holiday in France. So it started from Vilnius with this amazing crew which was so polite, easy going, nice talking and did their job on a high level! We bought almost everything they offered! It was a pity we missed that team on our way back.

So, please, say very big THANK YOU to these guys from the company which remember their holiday and very friendly Ryanair team!!

I would just like to express my thanks for the service provided to my husband and I when we flew back on FR8382 (15.00) from Alicante to Stansted yesterday. My husband damaged his back whilst we were in Spain and was unable to walk and we therefore required assistance.

My request for this via your Spanish contact number was handled efficiently. This was followed up by excellent service by your check in staff at Alicante and the assistance staff at both Alicante and Stansted. Salvatore (I believe this was his name) was very helpful when we were on board. I was extremely relieved to find that we had been allocated three seats which enabled my husband to stretch his leg.

We were both very stressed by what had happened and were dreading the flight back to the UK. Although my husband was in a great deal of pain your staff did everything possible to ensure we received the best service.

They were understanding and sympathetic, which got us through a tough patch. My apologies... I have been meaning to write this for some time.

I travelled with your airline on 2 April between London Stansted and Bergerac and, as I boarded, was taken ill.

I am what is euphemistically called a “Senior Citizen” and was somewhat distressed/Panicked by the unexpected turn of events, but the immediate assistance, reassurances and subsequent in-flight care given by one of your stewards — Ms Chelsey Manning - were hugely appreciated.

For an airline that tends to get more brickbats than bouquets in the media, I just wanted to register with the powers-that-be my thanks for and appreciation of the concern shown and care given to me by that young lady on the flight.

I’m a strong believer in acknowledging excellent customer service and accordingly I want to express my compliments through you regarding two outstanding Ryanair cabin crew members.

I travelled on FR7094 from Dublin to Murcia on Monday 16th April. The overall quality of service from your team was high quality however the friendly and courteous service provided by Purser Anna and her colleague from Porto during the flight is deserving of special mention.

Although busy (and with one sector remaining) they had the capacity to smile and deal with all passenger queries in a most engaging manner.

Unusually we had a missed approach and Anna dealt with this potentially worrying situation for nervous flyers (not me) in a highly relaxed and professional manner. We still arrived ahead of schedule

My wife and I have been travelling by air to and from Italy for over twenty years using various airlines. This was the first time we have used the RYANAIR Edinburgh to Verona flight. I must say that this service ticked numerous boxes.

First of all our location In Fife means that we are less than an hour from Edinburgh airport. The Verona destination is perfect for our frequent visits to the Dolomiti and the Garda area. The online procedure for booking and payment was faultless. The efficient pre-flight information and procedures were exceptional. A smooth and On-time flight was much appreciated. We have, this day, booked our next RYANAIR flight (And car hire.) from Edinburgh to Verona for our July holiday.

You probably won’t recall but I had correspondence with you on travelling on Ryanair

Flights carrying an ABS Avalanche Rescue Airbag back in 2008. You were most helpful in obtaining the necessary consents, for which I thank you.

I am now writing to express my gratitude and thanks to your Supervisor, Sharon, at the airport, who was of great assistance with Dublin Airport Security on the two most recent occasions that I travelled; Saturday 21st January to Salzburg and on Sunday 18th March to Memmingen.

On these occasions her calm, friendly and authoritative manner was a major help in what is often a stressful experience. Please convey my thanks to her.

I would like to thank you for a very good experience with your staff. I flew as a passenger on, the 28th March 2012 on flight FR8095 from Bergamo to Brindisi. On this flight your cabin crew friendly welcomed us at the back door and as we were one of the last passengers arriving there was not much seats left for us but this boy helped us to find the seats together and to stow our bags. I wish you had more cabin crew like him.

Greetings.

Although I am frequent traveller, using most of the times, Ryanair, I have never sent you any letters before. Usually, customers tend to write you letters only when the wrong side of the coin gets into perspective, but I wanted to write to you to congratulate you on a member of your staff.

I was on my way to Pisa on February 4, on flight no. FR 9993, where I met one of your cabin crew members, namely Mr. Alvin Borg. Not only he was well presented, but he was the most gentle staff member I ever encountered from all the flights I boarded with so many air companies. Congratulations Ryanair. These people help you get the best of names. I have always noted that Ryanair crew seem to be very well educated and smart. This one is a true example.

I wanted to drop a note, as I know so many people are very quick to put down Ryanair’s service (even though they still use it), to say that having had a query with a current booking I phoned your customer service line this morning. When I got through to Olivia at the call centre she could not have been more helpful. She was extremely polite, pleasant and put my mind at ease very quickly.

I don’t usually send letters like this but when I was stressed out today Olivia really made a difference — so Thank You!

I was flown from Gran Canaria to Zaragoza on 25th of February, flight number FR 7721. Since I stepped into your plane and for all the duration of my flight I was greeted, looked after with enthusiasm by your team members and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them and all your crew members of your encouragement and support.

As always all staff of Ryanair were extremely cooperative. I must, however single out one in particular who worked exceptionally hard to make it success it was. This is Liuventus, who seems to have an unlimited amount of energy and holds firmly to the conviction that if it is worth doing, it is worth doing it right.

I am quite frequent flyer with Ryanair and to fly with your company is always a pleasure for all. As I am very afraid of flying and especially take off and landing is not the best time for my stomach I need someone who is able to make me feel relaxed and this happened to me on a Right from Bergamo to Bratislava (FR 4642) on the 5th of September. It was very early flight and I really didn’t feel well to board any kind of transport at so early hours but your cabin crew with his professionalism made this for me very unpleasant experience much much easier, There was one of your cabin crew named Petr who saw that I didn’t feel really well and I didn’t really enjoy being there but with his personal assistance later I didn’t even realize that I am still on board and we are already landing,

It has been already some time that this has happened but now I finally found the address where I can send this to you and I would like to say this way my big thank you to this boy and the rest of the crew for their services.

All the best to Ryanair and to all these boys and girls that are the right people in this position.

After yet another wonderful weekend away, this time in Gothenburg, Sweden, I thought it was about time that I put pen to paper to say a big ‘Thank you’ for a fantastic service.

My Husband and I have used your service from Charleroi many times since moving to Belgium last autumn. My Husband is posted here from the UK for the next three years and to have your airline making regular flights throughout Europe from-our local airport is wonderful as with your low fares we can now see a lot more of Europe than we’d initially planned.

The flights we have taken, the latest being FR8221/FR8222 to Sweden have all been punctual, in fact this latest flight left early and arrived early...I don’t think anyone could ask for anything better than that.

All Ryan air staff that we have met including ground staff and cabin crew have been professional, polite and helpful and have made the experience easy and relaxing... even when confronted by ‘rude’ passengers, they have maintained their composure and have represented Ryan air in a dignified and professional way...all credit to them.

We are looking forward to many more flights with your company over the next few years.

People are always willing to complain when something goes wrong and I’ve heard all the comments regarding Ryanair’s charges etc.

However on this occasion I wish to commend you and in particular one individual flight attendant on the flight to Malta on 9th Dec.

My wife and I are somewhat seasoned travellers, this flight being our 9th flight this year alone, in fact we just returned from Malaga on Ryanair on 20th November, how could I forget the worst turbulence ever on taking off in the rain. We also had four flights on Continental Airlines in the spring where I rated them well below Ryanair for standards.

As we travelled to Malta on the 9th of Dec, I remember the pilot announcing we would be landing in approx 55 minutes and thought, I wish I was on the ground as I began to feel unwell.

The next thing I remember is me lying across the spare seat between mine and my wife’s seat with someone else talking to me. It was the flight attendant whom my wife, who incidentally is a nurse, had called to my aid. All I know is her name was Dora and she showed, as my wife informs me, a great standard of professionalism and compassion for a passenger who had simply passed out.

I had to receive oxygen for the remainder of the journey, even when landing but by now I was in better shape. After landing Dora was still attending to our needs by offering some additional medical assistance from the terminal at Malta but as I was now fully recovered albeit a bit groggy we opted to leave the aircraft along with some other assisted passengers.

I would like you to pass on my very gracious thanks to Dora for a job well done and look forward to flying again soon on one of our many holiday breaks.

I would like to thank Ryanair and the appropriate people on the ground for their care and assistance to me on my flights on 16 and 13 November 2011.

Not only was I able to carry a necessary piece of medical equipment without charge, but was assisted by wheelchair with care and concern throughout. This service was invaluable to me and to my husband, and was done with cheerfulness.

I overheard someone at the airport say that airlines dislike assistance passengers.

The care we were given does not support that statement quite the contrary.

Please pass on our grateful thanks to everyone once again.

I have indeed intended to write to you on many occasions and finally I have gotten around to doing so!

I just wanted to say a very big ‘thank you’ for the service you give to us, the travelling public.

Ryanair seems to come in for a lot of negative publicity but I for one would like to redress this ..(though is there such a thing as bad publicity??)

I have worked in the travel industry all my life and for years have been cabin crew with another airline, so I think I am reasonably qualified to comment on the Ryanair experience.

I use your company very frequently both for business and pleasure and I can honestly say I cannot fault it. All your staff have been efficient and courteous in doing what can at times be an extremely stressful job. I have yet to have a delay or cancellation. (I realise that these things can go wrong but it’s the same for all airlines!!)

Most flights land before schedule- a very good reason not to have a lot of hold baggage as baggage handling can delay timings considerably and extended turnarounds can lead to higher fares.

The cabin baggage allowed is quite reasonable and more importantly, safer than bulky heavy bags.

Do people not realise that in a crash situation more passengers are injured by heavy articles falling out of the overhead lockers than from the impact!! Travelling frequently with lots of different airlines, I have been able to compare onboard prices and have found Ryanair to be on a par with most of them..(l have yet to see a “money slot” on a Ryanair toilet!!)

Recently I have travelled to Malta, Biarritz, Bristol, Paris, Genoa.... to name but a few and am looking forward to heading to Tallinn on December when, I am sure, I will get the same great value efficiency and service as always.

So well done, Ryanair, as long as you keep flying, so will I!

Please allow me to compliment you on a fantastic profit forecast in your company.

Before the “ash-cloud” last year I was an occasional traveller on your airline but since then resulting from your excellent customer service and communication 1 became a convert. I happened to be stranded and you were the only salvation I had. You were fair and equitable in your fare.

Since then I have flown frequently with your airline and I have only had good experiences with them. Your service is way ahead of your Irish competition in the cabin and in particular the kindness and courtesy of your crews, not to mention your punctuality.

Please keep up the Great Work you are doing, as I would never be able to visit my apartment in Spain as often as I do if it were not for your excellent fair and reasonable priced service you provide.

Please accept this in the spirit it is written as I am not given to writing to anybody but I just couldn’t let this opportunity pass. Great Irish success story.

On 30.10.2011, I took the 8042 flight from Brussels South to go to Nimes. During this flight, l was suddenly taken from a health concerns which required the intervention of cabin crew and one passenger who is a doctor.

Hereby, I wish to express my warmest gratitude towards the cabin team of flight 8042, especially for the head hostess. I appreciated their gratitude, their attention and efficacy of their intervention.

As deputy CEO in the area of contact centre, I expect nothing less from my employees with respect to their customers and I wanted to highlight the professionalism of the head hostess for the occasion.

I am writing to you to compliment the cabin crew of a recent flight that land my family (12 in all) took recently with your company.

Unfortunately, during the flight, my father-in-law was taken ill, in a serious way. The cabin crew responded immediately and calmly and knew where the oxygen was kept and how to use it. The call for any doctors or nurses on board (there were two of the latter) was made very quickly and the crew gave them excellent support. They also kept the family informed and were very supportive. At the destination airport an ambulance with medics was waiting and my father-in-law was quickly in hospital.

I’m pleased to say that he made a recovery and was able to enjoy most of the holiday.

The family is very appreciative of the quality of assistance received from the cabin crew.

I would add that I have made a very positive assessment on Skytrax.

Flying with Ryanair was a first for many of the family and I am sure we will be travelling with you in the future.

No hassle, no waiting to board. 40 mins early going out, 40 mins early returning to Birmingham. Cabin crew were very pleasant and efficient.

[...]I thought I would just update you on the last trip with my wife — which I mention in my letter.

FANTASTIC!! — WELL DONE. All the arrangements were flawless. We got first class service, ‘fast track’ through security etc, and seats were reserved for us when we got on- board. I CANNOT FAULT THE TREATMENT WE GOT!! The special assistance staff, both at Leeds/Bradford AND Dublin — both out and back — were wonderful... even to the extent of your cabin crew insisting on helping put our bags in the overhead lockers — which I could have done myself!

BOTH outbound and return flights took off and landed on time and we had a FANTASTIC weekend in Dublin for my grandson’s first birthday.

THANK YOU!! And well done! WHY does Ryanair get such bad press from some sad people? I am going again do Dublin – on my own this time – on 3 November – and thoroughly looking forward to it. PLEASE keep on doing what you do – I am your ‘Number one’ fan!

I refer to my conversation with your call centre staff earlier today concerning the above booking references. I am very grateful for your assistance in amalgamating these two bookings so that I could be in a position to book myself and my son in online.

It was a pleasure to be dealt with in such a professional and courteous manner and further to deal with a representative who immediately identified the problem and who was able to guide me towards a prompt, efficient and effective solution.

[...]I thought I would just update you on the last trip with my wife — which I mention in my letter.

FANTASTIC!! — WELL DONE. All the arrangements were flawless. We got first class service, ‘fast track’ through security etc, and seats were reserved for us when we got on- board. I CANNOT FAULT THE TREATMENT WE GOT!! The special assistance staff, both at Leeds/Bradford AND Dublin — both out and back — were wonderful... even to the extent of your cabin crew insisting on helping put our bags in the overhead lockers — which I could have done myself!

BOTH outbound and return flights took off and landed on time and we had a FANTASTIC weekend in Dublin for my grandson’s first birthday.

THANK YOU!! And well done! WHY does Ryanair get such bad press from some sad people? I am going again do Dublin – on my own this time – on 3 November – and thoroughly looking forward to it. PLEASE keep on doing what you do – I am your ‘Number one’ fan!

My husband and I travelled with Ryanair on 20” October 2011 from Fuerteventura to Dublin on flight no 7129 at 12.O5pm. On Behalf of my husband and I we would like to thank Ryanair and the airport staff both in Dublin and Fuerteventura for the attention I received having broken my ankle just two days before finishing my holiday.

As I was unable to walk I was supplied a wheelchair for my duration in both airports, plus the special attention I had with getting off the plane at Dublin airport. I can’t thank everyone enough who assisted me for their kindness.

Dear Sirs

I am writing to express my delight at my first experience of Ryanair.

I recently travelled from Leeds to Dublin to visit my son, and grand-children, who have re-located [...] for 3 years. Having read, and heard, some of the Ryanair ‘horror stories’ I was very concerned that – as a 65 year old ’infrequent’ flyer – I would find the process difficult. Not a bit of it!!

I found booking to be very straightforward — pricing is quite clear, and if you don’t want to pay the price quoted, don’t fly! I have now applied for, and just received, my Ryanair Cash Passport — again, very straightforward and clear to understand.

I shall be travelling to Dublin at least once per month for the next 3 years (3 more trips already booked!) and I very much look forward to becoming a “Ryanair Frequent Flyer”

I am taking my wife over at the end of October, and she has difficulty walking due to needing a replacement hip. Yesterday I phoned your ‘special assistance’ line to ask if there was any chance of me using a wheelchair for her at Dublin — where the walk to the entrance etc is very long. I said we would probably be OK at Leeds because the distances were much less.

Your young lady was EXCEPTIONAL!! A credit to your business. She would not hear of me pushing a wheelchair, along with 2 bags, at EITHER end of the journey, and insisted that you would provide an escorted wheelchair, right to the aircraft steps, and that we would be boarded last — and seats would be reserved for us.

This is exceptionally good service — from a carrier who seems to get unjustified ‘bad press’ on a regular basis. My experience of Ryanair — so far — is FIRST CLASS!

The main reason for this letter is to compliment your staff on [FR 8245]. There was a minor medical emergency on the flight and I wanted to let you know that your staff member handled the whole situation calmly, and with great professionalism without alarming the passengers.

In fact all the staff on that flight are to be recommended for their total professionalism throughout the incident.

Please on our compliments to the staff on the flight, and especially the lady who dealt with the incident.
